William Balfour, the only person charged in the murders of Jennifer Hudson's mother Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and Nephew Julian King appeared in court today before judge Mary Roberts (filling in for newly appointed judge of the proceedings, Charles P. Burns). It was revealed during today's proceeding that the deposition of a witness in the case was to take place at 1:00 p.m. today in the jury room of the courthouse and that said deposition was to be videotaped. A continuance was granted "by agreement" of both parties and a status hearing was scheduled for a month from today.
In court observing the proceedings were Michele Davis-Balfour (mother of suspect William), Tyrone Hudson and Gregory King (father of murdered child Julian King).
