Finally, those blaring, jarring, wailing Jennifer Hudson Weight Watcher commercials appears to be ceasing. I thought there were decibel laws for TV commercials and those commercials featuring Jennifer Hudson appeared to break every one of them. For those who remember the genius that was Nina Simone and to preserve the sanctity of the song featured in the Weight Watcher commercial I gladly post Nina's version of Feeling Good. Enjoy!

Random Thoughts of a Wondering Mind During the Month of October!

I WAS JUST WONDERING...

1.  is the economy so bad that entire families are resorting to stealing food by going into the self-serve salad bar section of the grocery store, bagging up fried chicken, salad, grapes, then head to the refrigerated section grab soda, juice and milk, proceed to walk around the store as if shopping all the while eating the food they swiped.  When done, stash the bones and empty containers on a shelf by the canned goods, burping and licking their fingers on the way towards the exit door while grabbing a courtesy baby wipe on the way out!? *smdh*

2.  if I should purchase tickets to Fantasia's concert for fear she will tell everyone to stand up, sing with her and bum-rush the stage?

3.  why an "angry" black man with "nappy hair" don't "get a perm" and "get over it?"

4.  how did the passing of blaxploitation actress Vonetta McGee in July get past me?

5.  when is Weight Watchers going to come clean in regards to Jennifer Hudson?

6.  is Jennifer Hudson going to give the bariatric surgeon credit?

7.  will Common, Lupe Fiasco, Jennifer Hudson cease and desist from trying to proclaim 'We can do it' a Chi-town national anthem?  It doesn't even come close to Alicia Keys and Jay Z's collabo on New York.

8.  why anyone cares to see a "jackass" penis is beyond me.

Those are just a few things that wondered in and out of my wondering mind during the month of October.  Peace Out!

Jennifer Hudson's fake album cover need changing!

I am saddened and disappointed as to why Jennifer Hudson feel the need to alter her God given appearance by photoshopping her debut album cover picture. Why her PR people would allow her to do it without stepping in and putting a stop to it is beyond me. Jennifer Hudson's refusal to publicly address the issue with her fans takes the cake. I have taken the time to post covers of some of the most successful albums of the past year, void of 'photoshopping', all beautiful full-figure soul sistas' within their own right.
